Sofá-Cama Ikea

[ES] Ayer fue el día, llegó el sofá-cama.... El chico de la tienda me dijo que no creía que pudiera montarlo sola.... pero como ya sabéis soy muy cabezona así que me propuse intentarlo.

[EN] Yesterday was the day, I received the sofa-bed. The guy from the shop told me that I will not be able to mount the sofa alone... but as you know when I want to do something... I just do it!

[ES] Primera dificultad: Las cajas eran muy pesadas y tenía que bajarlas al suelo... menos mal que el gres no resbalaba... Primera prueba superada.

[EN] First problem: The boxes were really heavy and I need to put them on floor... at least the floor is good one and was easy... First part done.

[ES] Segundo: Encontrar las instrucciones… Abrí todas las cajas y nada buff…. Y como se monta esto?? Cuando empecé a investigar… encontré las instrucciones y tornillos en el compartimento para guardar la ropa de la cama…. Qué bien como mínimo hay instrucciones…

[EN] Second: Found the instructions... I open all boxes but I didn't found... How to put all pieces in its place?? When I started to investigate... I found the instructions in the place for hide the clothes of the bed... At finally at least I can start following the steps...

[ES] Tercero: Manos a la obra… Las instrucciones son solo 19 pasos. Empezamos por las patas, de momento parece sencillo… pero llega el momento de montar los brazos en el soporte… cómo pesa! Pero conseguido…. Llega el peor momento, el respaldo, hay que sacarlo de la caja, y digamos que pequeño no es. Como dicen que vale más maña que fuerza… Así hice y para fuera… Ahora a cargarlo para colocarlo en su sitio (En estos momentos de fuerza bruta es cuando se echa de menos un hombre). Colocado! Apretamos tornillos, colocamos cojines y listo! Ahora ya parece un sofá!

[EN] Third: Let's start... Just 19 steps to follow. Firsts steps no problem. After just moving some heavy parts.... At least using the intelligence things become less heavy ;) The back of the sofa... Really heavy (In this moments is when I mean the power of a man). Done! I tighten the screws, put in his plce the 'pillows' and done! At least now seems a really sofa!

[ES] Cuarto: Las fundas. Parecía que iba a ser lo más fácil, pero me tiré un buen rato. Estira por aquí, encoge por allá y listo. Se acabó, solo han sido 2 horas! Bueno, también hay que reconocer que ha sido con la calma y haciendo pausas para ver trozos de Hospital Central, entonces tampoco está tan mal no?

[EN] Fourth: The covers. At first I thought that was the easiest, but I spend a while untill I arrive till the end. Move from here to there, no no more here.... Done, just 2 hours for finish! Well I need to say that I was at the sime time watching a TV serie that I like: Hospital Central, then is not so so bad, isn't it?

[ES] Ya sabéis si alguien necesita ayuda… Aquí me tenéis!
[EN] Well, if someone need my help... You know where I am!

The Bodies

[EN] This is the last week that will be possible to visit ‘The Bodies’ in Madrid. One of my new colleagues at NEC proposed me to go. I had listened before about the exposition in TV but I never imagine that was possible for me to go.

[ES] Es la última semana que está abierta la exposición 'The Bodies' en Madrid. Uno de mis nuevos compañeros en NEC me invitó a ir. Había oido hablar de la exposición en la tele, pero nunca hubiera imaginado que tendría la oportunidad de ir.

[EN] Of all my visit in the exposition I highlight human bodies were was possible to see the muscles, two lungs, from smoking and non-smoking person , the growing up of a fetus since 5 weeks and also the posibility to take with my hand one heard and half brain.

[ES] De todo lo que vi, destaco los cuerpos donde se veian los músculos, dos pulmones, de un fumador y un no-fumador, el crecimiento de un feto desde las 5 semanas y tambié el echo de que era posible coger un corazón y un cerebro.

[EN] In the pictures we can see the position of a body when is trying to hit a voley ball. We can see the muscles of all body. What they use to do is to separe a little bit them from the bones but never separate completely from one of its part from the bones.

[ES] En las imágenes podemos ver dos cuerpos en posición de golpear una pelota de voleyball. Se pueden ver los músculos. Lo que acostumbran a hacer es separar los músculos del hueso para que se puedan ver mejor. Pero siempre los dejan unidos a una parte para que veamos donde están situados.

[EN]About the lungs, we saw 2, one almost dark, this one was from a smoking person… The one from a non-smoking lung had just some dark spots, the reason of them is mainly the polution. They said that depending were you live your lungs will be also more or less dark.

[ES] Sobre los pulmones, había dos. Uno prácticamente negro, pertenecía a una perspna fumadora. El otro simplemente tenía ciertas zonas oscurecidas. Explicaban que pertenecia a una persona no fumadora, pero que en función de la zona donde se viviera por culpa de la polución podría estar más o menos manchado.

[EN] Before going to the room of fetus, there was a curios message telling, please stop and think if you really want to go inside. As curiosity, the heart of a fetus start to “sound” when is just 5 weeks old.

[ES] Antes de entrar en la sala de los fetos, había un cartel que decía, por favor paráte y piensa si quieres entrar. Como curiosidad decir que el corazón de un feto empieza a latir desde las 5 semanas.

[EN] At the end you can take a brain and a heart. The brain has its original weight. Normally the weight of a brain is arounf 1,3 Kg.

[ES] Al final es donde estaba la zona de: Aquí si se puede tocar. Se podia coger un corazón y una mitad de cerebro. El peso medio de un cerebro es de 1,3 Kg.

[EN] If you have the oportunity to visit it, don´t doubt, just go. I really recommend this exposition for everyone that has the curiosity to know how we are inside.

[ES] Si tenéis la oportunidad de visitarlo, no lo dudéis, simplemente ir. Realmente recomiendo esta exposición para todo aquel que tenga la curiosidad de saber como somos por dentro.

Difícil aparcar? - Hard to park?

[ES] Mucha gente piensa que en Madrid es complicado aparcar, pero como todo es según a quien preguntes... Ya veis que el dueño de esta foto no le ha costado demasiado. A eso se le llama aprovechar el espacio :)

Lo más curioso es que no es el único Smart que he visto aparcando así. este lo vi un jueves por la noche cerca de Tirso de molina en pleno centro de Madrid. Ayer vi otro cerca de donde trabajo... Será algo que les digan al comprar el coche?

[EN] Lot of people things that in Madrid is difficult to park the car, but as always is depen to which person you ask. As you can see in the pic the owner of this car didn't spend a lot time look for parking. Really is a good way to use better the place :)

 

The most funny is that is not the unique Smart that I had seen. This car was parked in the middle of Madrid. Yesterday I saw another next to my work. Do you think that when you by this car they explain you how to park?
